Correct the Spellings:

Be very careful of the spellings as incorrect spellings make the sentence meaningless. The spelling of a word is often changed in its plural form. Following are some spelling rules to make a noun plural.

For most of the nouns like Ball, Bag, Car etc, alphabet ‘s’ is added at the end in their plural form. For example: The plural of ball is balls, bag is bags, car is cars etc.
Add ‘es’ after the nouns ending with ‘s’, ‘x’, ‘z’, ‘ch’, or ‘sh’, in their plural form.
For Example:

The plural of Watch is watches, Bus is busses, dish is dishes etc.

Add ‘s’ after the nouns that end with ‘o’.
For Example: The plural of potato is potatoes and tomato is tomatoes.

Correct usage of Articles: The articles a, an, the should be used correctly.

Example:

I need a orange – Incorrect

I need an Orange - Correct

Tenses - Pay attention to the tenses used in writing. Choose the correct tense as per the time period you are writing about like past, present and future.

Example :

I wrote a letter. This sentence is in past tense.

I write a letter. This sentence is in present tense

I will write a letter. This sentence is in Future tense.

Use the same sounding words very carefully.

Example:

Everyone went to the party except Ravi. – Correct Sentence

Everyone went to the party accept Ravi – Incorrect Sentence
